Wooden logs in general, are not perfectly symetrical, but, unlike most wooden logs, these logs are designed and cut so that the weight distribution is even.

These logs weigh around 30-35kg. The handle width is made to IFSA spec, and the diameter generally around 11". If you wish to check what weights we currently have in stock please contact us. Please note - they are expected to lose up to 20% of their weight when fully dried out. The logs can form cracks, and this is a natural part of the wood drying.

The Texas power bars were developed by Buddy Capps (a Texas powerlifter) more than 30 years ago and have become the standard in powerlifting.

Manufactured by Capps Welding, and coated with zinc oxide which means they're not slippy and weakened (which it is believed the process of chroming does), but they are not prone to rust like the standard 'unfinished' Texas Power Bars. Learn More

This bar is 228cm in length, 140cm between sleeves, 25mm diameter, and 20kg in weight with sharp deep knurling. This bar also does not have center knurling and is rated at 186,000psi. This bar is great for adding extra kgs to your dead lift.
