At Strength Shop UK, we are committed to offering many different delivery services to cater for all our customers needs. If you have feedback on a recent delivery we invite you to contact us - we are always looking to improve our services wherever possible.
For delivery quotes please view the shopping basket and enter your Country, County/Region and Postcode into the “Estimate Delivery” box. The shipping options and cost will be displayed. If your country doesn’t appear in the list, please contact [email protected] for a custom quote.
If you have not received tracking details from Royal Mail, DPD or UPS and want an update on your estimated delivery date, please contact us. Please note delivery time estimates are working days only and exclude weekends, bank holidays & public holidays unless stated otherwise in the delivery option.
Want your delivery a particular day?
For certain sizes of order, various DPD options are available for Next Day Delivery and Saturday/Sunday delivery in the shopping basket. However this is only available for certain sizes of order. If there is not a suitable delivery option available when placing your order, or you want to plan your delivery for a particular day - please contact us to organise this first. We will be happy to organise this for you. UPS Express services (pre 10.30am, pre 12pm and also Saturday deliveries) are available to select areas in UK mainland by contacting us for a custom shipping quote.
DPD Delivery - 1 hour delivery slot and options to pickup from DPD Pickup Shops
Consider upgrading to DPD delivery at checkout. In addition to being fully tracked and having various services available for next day & weekend deliveries to choose from - for all DPD orders you will also get a 1 hour delivery slot and the option to pickup from a DPD shop if you are not in. To receive these options you must provide a correct mobile number or email address at checkout. Only available for certain sizes of orders.
Free Shipping to UK Mainland / Northern Ireland / Ireland over £100
Free shipping for orders over £100 retail value are available on the vast majority of items. In the shopping basket it will state how much you have left to spend before qualifying for free shipping. Certain items will incur a shipping surcharge to Northern Ireland and Ireland, this is stated on the product descriptions where possible. For Highlands & Islands, a shipping surcharge will normally occur. If you email before your order we can advise the exact amount this will be. If you place your order before asking, we will send a request for the excess shipping cost by email.
No Shipping / Collect From Warehouse
For UK customers we provide the option to collect your order from our warehouse at no charge. Simply select “No Shipping - COLLECT IN PERSON from warehouse in Motherwell, Scotland (by prior arrangement only)” at the checkout, we will contact you shortly after you place your order to ask what day you will be collecting with our opening times.
Please note for deliveries to Republic of Ireland, prices can be viewed in Euros (€) at strengthshop.ie. Please note that on strengthshop.ie you must spend €120 to qualify for free shipping. Certain products are exempt from free shipping, and this is stated on the product page. In these cases if you don’t email for a shipping quote ahead of your order, we will send you a request to pay the excess shipping after you place your order by email.
VAT Exempt Orders & VAT Receipts
Please contact [email protected] if you require to place a VAT exempt order, or require a VAT receipt for an order you have placed (or wish to place).
Large deliveries (Pallets and DPD Freight Service)
Larger sized orders may be shipped by Pallet Courier or DPD Freight Service. For pallets shipped on a wooden pallet or by crate, we will send you an email after you have placed your order stating the following;
“As your order is fairly large it will be shipped out with our specialist pallet couriers so it will work slightly differently compared to a normal order. As the order is so large it is a kerbside drop only, the driver will not be able to dismantle the pallet or move it into any residence or building like a door to door courier can.
We'll dispatch your order as quickly as we can. The delivery will require a signature upon delivery so as soon as your order reaches the local delivery depot they will contact you on (tel number) to arrange delivery on a suitable day Monday to Friday, so please ensure this number is correct.
When they call please inform them of any issues which may cause their trucks an issue like narrow access roads, low bridges, security gates etc as this may cause a delay in receiving your order on the chosen delivery date.
If you have a specific day in mind you can let us know now by replying to this email and we'll send the details onto the couriers.
Should there be any issues with the delivery at all, or any of your contact details are not correct please let us know.”

Certain large single items are sent by DPD Freight. If this applies to your order you will receive an email stating the following;
“Due to the size/weight of your order it has been shipped out on a specialist freight service with DPD. DPD will keep you up to date with all your delivery details as best they can however this service can sometimes run into a two or three day service as some delivery depots do not have the resources to deliver this service daily.
In addition the driver may on occasion require assistance to move the parcel hence there will always have to be someone present at the delivery address when they arrive to sign for the order.
If you'd like an update on the status of your delivery at any time please let us know and we can look into it for you.”

Requesting an alternative delivery service / organising your own courier
If you do not think any of our delivery options are suitable [email protected] for more options. We realise you may have had a bad experience with a stated courier and we can work with you to find a courier suitable for delivering your order. Alternatively if you wish to use your own courier this can also be organised by contacting [email protected]
Next Day Delivery, Working Days, Bank Holidays & Public Holidays
For UK Mainland we offer various Next Day Delivery and timed services on certain sizes of orders. For DPD Next Day Services to UK Mainland, if you place your order before 12pm on a working day, delivery will be attempted on the next working day. A working day is defined as Monday - Friday, and this exclude Bank Holidays & Public Holidays.
