Besides competition, this barbell is an excellent pick for any strength sports oriented gym, powerlifting club or boxes. With a shaft diameter of 29cm and a medium sharp knurling, it provides a good gripy feeling and the centre knurling securely sets in the neck/back area during squats. The Barbell comes with 81cm grip marking, as is common in powerlifting. With a 50cm sleeve diameter and a slightly grooved surface, the weight plates will have a secure fit on the barbell. Visually strong, too, the bar shaft has a black finish.

Great performance bar - but not the finish I ordered
I ordered the **** Power Bar Calibrated with black E-coat (IPF approved) from Ukraine and had it delivered to my mother’s (Oksana Duval-Petryna, order number S483661 ) address in London, UK, from where she forwarded it to me. While I’m very satisfied with the bar’s overall performance—it has great knurling, feels solid, and is clearly a high-quality product—I unfortunately received the version without the black E-coating, which is not what I ordered.
The finish was an important part of my decision, both for aesthetic and practical reasons, so this was a bit disappointing. Since the bar was sent internationally in two steps, it’s not practical for me to return or exchange it. Still, I want to highlight that the bar itself performs excellently—just be sure to double-check that the correct version is being sent before dispatch.
