Plates are sold as singles. 140kg set consists of two of each plate. To protect quality during shipping, our bumper plates are coated with a silicone-based protective film, packed in plastic wrap, and boxed. This may result in a strong rubber smell upon unpacking, which will dissipate over time with regular use. In a well-ventilated gym space, the smell should fade within a few days. To speed up the process, you can clean the plates with water and soap, wipe them down with a cloth, and let them air out.
These are some solid and high quality plates not to mention the price is on point. I started out with a set of 10s and plan to purchase many more in the near future, can't be more happy with them. Great stuff guys !
