This squat stand can be extended optionally with different bar holders. The numbered 40 top to bottom holes enable you to bench, too, and make it easy to recognize your preferred settings for your most commonly used exercises. You are not limited to squats or overhead presses, but can also perform assistance exercises such as pull-ups on the same training station.
This solid and stable 1.9m squat stand is ideal for ambitious home gym training, PT studios but also commercial gyms. The design is not too bulky due to a smaller box section and a space-saving alternative to our cages.
A robust 60mm box section and a steel thickness of 3mm ensures that this squat stand is on the lighter side, while remaining solid enough for heavy weights. It is quick to assemble and can be anchored to the floor with bolts via two cut-outs at the bottom of the uprights for even more stability. A high-quality black powder coating protects the steel from scratches and erosion.
➲ From powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, to general weight training, the Heavy-Duty Squad Stand is your robust training station.
A new and practical feature here is the quick-release pull-up bar mechanism, allowing you to adjust the height of the bar hassle-free. Just pull the red safety pin, adjust the height to your needs, reinsert the pin and you're ready to go. With a relatively thick diameter of 38,5mm, the pull-up bar offers an increased grip surface, which helps you maintain a comfortable and strong grip.
Add the Flat Bench V2 to enhance your training station. |
Is a squat stand the right choice for my training set-up?
Choosing between squat stands, power cages, and squat racks can be an overwhelming decision to make. It all comes down to your individual preferences, training goals, and budget.
Squat stands are more space-efficient in comparison to power cages, but they are a sturdier option in contrast to the basic squat racks. Power cages offer somewhat limitless possibilities to shape your training, in terms of add-ons like safety catchers, cable attachments or dip stations, just to name a few. A squat stand can be expanded too, but not to that extent. It mostly features a solid base for various strength training styles, like powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting or general strength training.
While not as comprehensive as a power cage, a squat stand is a budget-friendly option for most private and commercial gym spaces.
Overall, squat stands are a reliable choice for those seeking a general, somewhat versatile training station that offers convenience and flexibility.
