  • Riot MRR Rack + Functional Trainer Bundle

The Riot MRR Rack + Functional Trainer Bundle combines your chosen Riot MRR rack configuration with the Riot MRR Functional Trainer attachment, creating a versatile training setup for both barbell and cable-based exercises.

Built around the Riot MRR modular rack system, this bundle is available with the Compact Power Rack, Standard Power Rack or Half Rack. Each configuration is paired with the Riot MRR Functional Trainer, providing a fully integrated dual-stack cable system while maintaining access to the rack for traditional strength training.

    Why Choose This Bundle?

    • Combines a Riot MRR rack and Functional Trainer in one compatible package
    • Perform barbell and cable exercises from a single training station
    • Available in multiple rack configurations to suit your space
    • Dual independent weight stacks support unilateral and bilateral training
    • Modular Riot MRR platform allows future expansion

    What You Can Train

The addition of the Functional Trainer dramatically expands the exercise options available from a standard rack setup. Alongside squats, bench press, overhead press, deadlifts and other barbell movements, you can perform a wide range of cable exercises for hypertrophy, accessory work, rehabilitation and sports performance training.

Popular exercises include cable chest press, cable flyes, lat-focused pulling movements, seated and standing rows, tricep pushdowns, cable curls, lateral raises, pull-throughs, woodchoppers, Pallof presses and many more. The independent dual-pulley design also allows unilateral training to help address strength imbalances and improve stability.

    The Rack

The Riot MRR rack is constructed from 75 × 75 × 3 mm steel uprights and features Westside hole spacing through the lifting zone for precise J-cup and safety positioning. Designed for powerlifting, strongman, bodybuilding and general strength training, the MRR platform provides a robust foundation that can continue to grow with your training.

Available in Standard (2100 mm) and Tall (2300 mm) heights, the modular design allows compatibility with a growing range of Riot MRR attachments, storage solutions and accessories.

    The Functional Trainer

The Riot MRR Functional Trainer mounts directly to the rear of the rack, creating a fully integrated cable system without sacrificing access to the lifting area.

Using a smooth 6-pulley design and dual independent weight stacks, the trainer provides fluid cable movement across a wide range of exercises. Each pulley rotates through 360 degrees and can be adjusted to multiple height positions, allowing users to perform pressing, pulling, rotational and rehabilitation-based movements from various angles.

The system operates on a 2:1 pulley ratio, providing smooth resistance and increased cable travel for a natural training feel. An integrated footplate provides a stable platform for seated rowing movements.

The Functional Trainer is available with either dual 120 kg or dual 150 kg cast iron weight stacks, making it suitable for everyone from general gym users through to experienced strength athletes.

    Available Functional Trainer Options

    • 120 kg Weight Stacks — ideal for general strength training, hypertrophy and functional fitness
    • 150 kg Weight Stacks — increased resistance capacity for stronger athletes and commercial environments

    Space Requirements

The Functional Trainer requires additional space behind the rack to house the weight stacks and cable system. Allow approximately 555 mm of additional depth behind the selected rack configuration when planning your training space.

  • Why buy this bundle instead of a rack and trainer separately? This bundle is configured to work together from the start — the rack height, depth, and upright spec are matched to the Functional Trainer. You get everything in one order, one delivery, and one setup.

Can I use the barbell side and the cable side at the same time? Yes. The cable system runs through the rear uprights, so the front of the rack is usable for barbell work.

How much extra space does the Functional Trainer add? The weight stacks extend behind the rack, so you'll need a bit of clearance at the rear. Plan for the depth of the trainer in addition to the rack depth when mapping out your gym space.

What attachments do I need to buy? The cable system uses standard carabiner-clip handles. You'll need to order these separately: lat bar, straight bar, rope attachment, D-handles, ankle straps, and so on. These are available in our accessories range.

Can I expand or modify the rack later? Yes. The Riot MRR system is fully modular — attachments, storage solutions, safety bars, and other extensions can be added at any time.
